Very nice museum of around 11,000 eggs. Lucia was very friendly and gave us a tour. Definitely worth a trip to learn about the history and artistry of Romanian eggs.

The largest museum collection of decorated (painted) eggs in the world. The lifetime work of a local artist named Lucia Condrea. 11000 painted eggs that are masterpieces of human craftsmanship. Some of them are part of collection that dates back to the end of the 19th c. Others were made by the artist herself. Breathtaking beauty expressing traditional ingenuity and soul. Not to be missed.

This fabulous collection is comprised of not only Lucia's work but also many impressive items from all over the world. Lucia is an extremely talented artist well known and appreciated throughout the continents. We were privileged to have met her and absolutely enjoyed every minute we spent together. She got us acquainted to her collection and the different techniques used to achieve the fantastic end products. Highly recommended.

I visited Muzeul Oualor Lucia Condrea multiple times and its a original museum, by the author , with original artwork made by the artist Lucia Condrea. There are over 11,000 art pieces in 14 styles starting from traditional egg painting.Taking inspiration from Romanian traditional styles, old symbols and motives. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone coming to Romania . Its amazing!
