Wonderful place to spend the day at Golden Gate Park. A great mix that includes a planetarium, rain forest globe, aquarium, African hall, and other interesting items. Staff is friendly, a small cafe with a variety of food options plus a gift store inside and outside for your buying pleasure. The top attraction is the albino alligator. Enjoy this iconic museum.

Only the Treasury is open at the moment. All visitors to the Treasury must pay 45 Lari for a guide. If the other parts of the museum were open admission would be just 3 Lari. So I did not go in.

Very limited art exhibition. (Less than 18 items in the \art hall\). However, paintings impress. The treasure exhibition is allowed to visit only being accompanied by guide. No matter how many of you are in the group, you'll need to pay about 21usd. I was alone so I skipped this part.
What museum would have a printed ticket price for student of 1 Lari when ACTUALLY it is 45 Lari? Why write 1 Lari for ticket? You publish misleading and false information. When I pointed this out they just pointed to a separate poster on the wall saying all tickets needed a guide. Saying that the old information needed correcting just resulted in the same robotic response. I called them stupid and left ...
