I worked with MIS in November. We scheduled an interpreter for my father a few weeks in advance for an event at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor. Matthew was our interpreter, and he was great! Very professional and skilled - my mother works as a sign language interpreter and she loved him! I'm reaching out to Michigan Interpreting Services for our wedding in a few months and have requested him again. Very happy with our service thus far.

I work in the Assisted Learning Services (ALS) Department at Henry Ford College and have arranged interpreting services with several different sign language interpreting agencies throughout the years. For over the past 7 years I have been working exclusively with Michigan Interpreting Services (MIS) to provide sign language interpreting services for the HFC students and staff associated with the ALS office. MIS has consistently provided professional interpreters specifically qualified for each requested assignment at competitive rates. Arranging services is a simple process. Their billing invoices are easy to understand. All of their staff are quick to respond and resolve any problems that may arise. The owner of the company, Mary is conscientious about maintaining student confidentiality if there is a need to notify our office of any issues interpreters have identified during assignments that may be cause of concern for our students and staff. Most importantly, students are getting the services they require. MIS have been wonderful to work with and I look forward to continue using their services.
