This school is TERRIBLE. Sadly I have to go here. The Select Academy building is the worst building of them all. They attempted to make a small building into a K-7 school, they’re also planning to add another grade. There is barely any space for students, there isn’t a proper science room. Students don’t learn basic things like history. The Gym is in the same space as the Cafeteria. The school also has HORRIBLE teachers, the other day a substitute told their class they have no rights, after the students talked to higher authorities there was no action taken. The building is also infested with centipedes, ants, and rats (etc). The school is also too broke to give their students proper tools for education or to bring them on school trips. In my opinion this school needs to be shut down. If you are considering bringing your child here DON’T!

POS school kicked my cousin it of school because of his shoes. How dare you jeopardize his future, his education because of the clothes he wears. The shoes are primarily black, he is a good student and respectful, young man. All of these children that we're kicked out should be treated with more respect .

The school is a great school, academically my son has really improved. The communications between the school and parent is a perfect one. There are qualified teachers and they are doing there best. Thanks to my son Teacher Ms. Rosenberg and Ms. G.!!!!

Very sad...you are asking for the PUBLIC to donate to a school that fails to assist your students with proper dress. So you send them in the streets rather than educate them. I wouldn't donate a dime!

Mi experiences with the school this year are not good, they have rule which are affected my children and others children too. As a parents we need to look for our child to be safe and happy.
