As a student that went 3rd to 8th here, I can definitely say this is a great school, however there are just small things that just get annoying after a while, like the \dance parties\ on each Friday. If the student was at least 5-9 they would enjoy the small things, but for a 10-13 year old student, they would see at as a set of mundane tasks that lead up to nothing. Even a teacher of mine that worked here agreed to this, although it's better than anything else at this point. Ever since 2016 we lost the music center campus that the school still uses as it's logo, the tree is at the music center, but yet the school is not at the music center. But that's just a small detail. Despite these things, just enroll your kid here if you have enough patience and time for your kid.

As an educator with 14 years of experience I was very careful in selecting our children's new schools when we moved to Brevard a few months ago. We have been absolutely thrilled with BA! The communication to parents, overall high expectations and family environment is outstanding! My children love their school and have already made great friends. Truly a gem!
My son absolutely loves Brevard Academy! He has attended school here for 3 years grades 2-4. He attended another excellent charter (Evergreen) in Asheville for K-1st and we knew that was going to be a hard act to follow when we moved here. Brevard Academy has not only matched Evergreen in education and experience, it has surpassed it in so many other ways! My shy son has truly come out of his shell and enjoys going to school everyday. #IloveBA
I have 3 children whom have all attended Brevard Academy, with my youngest still attending. I can attest to the compassion and dedication the staff, from the front desk, teachers and principle have shown to my family! Bar none! I have seen my children grow exponentially at this school. My youngest Daughter has told me that one of her teachers has pushed her past what she thought she could accomplish and it has made her grow and learn more than she would have otherwise! Her words, not mine! They not only care for and about the students but also the parents!! I only wish they would have high school at Brevard Academy and my children would still attend. Cannot say enough positive things about this school or the staff here!!!!
I loved it there, but some of the middle school teachers were biased.
