A hidden gem, especially for those who love history. Presence of Morris Motor Museum being at the same spot was a big plus. Commendable effort to preservation. Tip: plan your visit such that it coincide with the free vintage bus ride.
Thank you to all of the volunteers at the bus museum for a lovely day. As we live locally we have been quite a few times, there is alot to see for adults and our children have fun. There are currently covid restrictions (masks, social distancing, plenty of handgel, cleaning, one way system) so we did feel safe. But the restrictions are not that bad and you barely notice once you get going around. Well worth visiting and supporting this friendly museum
If you like buses you'll love this place. They have a New Year's day running day every year as well as open Wednesday and Saturday at other times. Run by friendly volunteers with an excellent cafe serving light refreshments. Check out the Morris Motors Museum on site as well as the main museum. Thoroughly recommended. Easy access by train from Paddington as it is in the station yard!
An amazing museum! Such a comprehensive selection and history of buses. Plus the Morris collection. A great day out for the enthusiast.
