A good restaurant for Kerala cuisine on the Begur Koppa road. Ample seating space including a single open air balcony table which is good for a nice evening snack or dinner. Have traditional Kerala snacks like Banana Fry and Tapoica dishes. The shop is new and hence the whole place looks neat and clean.

Venad Restaurant is very good place to hang out to have good kerala food. One of the best Kerala Restaurants in Bangalore. Tasty Food, Homely care. I like more the cool ambience of the restaurant.
Not up to the mark, the Chikkan biriyani is somewhat okey, price also higher side. Expansive we can say for this area at mylasandra.
My poor experience is related two specific points 1- poor meals option at lunch- no banana leaf...rather a large plastic plate. A stale sambar, and o e bow average avial, one ok pachaadi and a payar toran. The quality is very poor. Plus to add on to the poor food is extremely service levels. The owners who man the counter seems too lethargic to bother about customer service. So even if you must order that below average meals for lunch.....be prepared for long waits before refills reach you. 2- bad quality of chicken: the chicken they use is of very poor quality. Which means every piece is rubbery and chewy. If possible avoid eating chicken here Overall below average ambience and food experience because of poor management.
