I wouldn't call it a visit it is required by law if they are open drivers of commercial vehicles are required to pull in that said I am happy that they are there as they have seen things that needed to be corrected before I was allowed to travel on missouri roads that I missed on my pretrip inspection I think that the mhp dot officers have a tuff job to do and that they're underappreciated everyone is happy when they received a no defects noted class one inspection but cry like baby's when thier truck is f__ked up and they received a high ticket

This is where hard working truck drivers donate their paychecks to people that don't know what it is to be away from family and friends for long periods of time.
Good people and i was treated fairly. Its still like going to the dentist though... drivers and weigh stations. Its a mandate thing.
