This review is for the ADULT college: There is very little support, if any, given to the students who attend the Adult College. If any extra support is given, it is minimal and depending on the Teacher as an INDIVIDUAL. Great for people who can go in there and do it all by themselves, but not great for people who need the help. And they wonder why enrolment rates are going down...

Absolutely disgusting excuse for a school. My siblings have never been bullied until they attended this high school. Granted, it is not the school’s fault they are being bullied, the school does NOTHING about bullying and makes ZERO attempt to contact parents about their child’s safety when it comes to bullying from the hands of another student. My siblings are being taken out of this school and I have never been more relieved. I will make sure EVERYONE I know, knows how disgusting this school and it’s staff are. Absolutely no excuse for tolerating and encouraging bullies.

My child is currently going there and I am less then impressed on the way they manage bullying. The teacher's are oblivious to many situations even when bullying happens in the classrooms, they lack any sort of care or knowledge towards a peer who is having trouble. A form was given to an adult to fill out to discuss matter's further with the principal. Seriously a form? where talking about bullying this kind of thing needs to be addressed ASAP and managed accordingly. I am already looking into another school for my child. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

This school does not care about the students or the families. Heatley is all about funding and if a child struggles with work and has medical reasons like Autism for instance they unenrol them. The treatment by this school is disgraceful. Students are numbers and numbers equal funding from the government. The education is bs. Year 11 and 12 are not aloud to choose subjects the teachers choose for them so they can control the grades and statistics. Students are failing and leaving because they can not choose their own future, their own subjects. They are not learning anythong to do with real life. Year 11 are learning about fairy tales in english ?????? Well they'll need that in the work force i am sure. No real work just money money for the school These people are responsible for a entire generation. Shame on you so called teachers you are setting the kids of townsville up to be laughed at by the rest of the country. They will not survive in any city or in a proper company because you people who hold every students future in your hands are doing the wrong thing by these kids. Get with it heatley get with the bloody program. Shame on you
