The ghetto is one of my favourite places in Venice. A great place to wander round. Full of canal side restaurants and bars and on top of all that a beautiful synagogue
like
We were looking for a quiet canal where we could enjoy the gondola trip. I recommend this place with all my heart. Unforgettable moments. The Grand Canal is too crowded and can be visited by water tram.
A little hidden gem. You go into an alleyway, and suddenly you are light years away from tourist crowds, enjoying Venice without the hustle and bustle. The Jewish museum and Ghetto tour are wonderful.
The old Jewish Ghetto, there is a nice museum, where you can see artifacts and ancient synagogues. The are also a few Kosher restaurants.
An important place to see, due to the historical context, the creation of a getho to segregate and discriminate a minority group in the population. Indy the world keeps forgeting. The synagogues are worth a visit.
