Kentwell hall is a fab place, and great value if you go when its an event day and everything is open. We most recently went for Haloweenies, the kids (with adults in tow) go round different sections to perform tasks and gain their certificate from the headmaster of the school of sorcery. We went on a fairly wet day, so we didn't go too slowly, but it still probably took us close to a couple of hours to get all the way round. If your kids are older I'd guess you'd do it far quicker... The grounds and house are very nice and you really can spend the whole day there (if the weather is nice!) We ended at the tea room expecting to get a hot chocolate, unfortunately after 10/15 min wait and no available table to sit at we gave up (it was still pouring with rain so no chance of just finding a seat elsewhere!) Regardless of this the kids had a fab day!

I love it here as there is always something new to see. Such diverse activities. Probably something for everyone throughout the year. The place where the living history of many periods makes it real and Magic events, surreal. Scares Ville makes it scary, where as meditation days produces calm, and then there's the festive feelings at Christmas. Or visit on a ormal\ day just to look around the manor house without the added distractions. But don't forget there's always the animals to see and gardens to walk through. A visit for me, is always like going home.

We found Kentwell Hall whilst staying close by, we had a wonderful day out. The walled garden is beautiful. The place is steeped in history. Look forward to coming back when we can see the house!

One of my favourite places, stunning Tudor Hall which holds many open days during the summer, Tudor reinactments, Shakespeare plays in the open air, musical nights and even movie nights and at Halloween a fright night for the kids! Set in beautiful countryside it is always a pleasure to visit even just to walk round the gardens and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

We went to kentwell where they had one of their Tudor days and must say it was a great day out. The various actors/ reenactors were informative and well versed in their language and knowledge. Thoroughly recommend this as good day out in current climate as all outside if you go make sure you make the effort to go to all the out of the way bits as the alchemist was out in a wood but my kids eyes were wide with delight. Thanks to all staff
