The most typical, shameless symbol of gentrification I have ever seen. Whilst the majority of the general population of Peckham cannot afford to shop there, their profit margins are so high that they're pretty much only open in the mornings. Getting to the till feels like stepping into Zimbabwe during that period of hyperinflation last year (11 ice cream). Every time I step in there I feel like a part of my soul disappears, and I've vowed to never do so again. Yes, shopping local is great in these trying times but straight ripping people off in a recession is not. And judging by the owners childish and vindictive reviews, i'll feel no guilt about not supporting local businesses owned by nasty people. Go next door, it's great there.
