Gabby's Caribbean Takeaway is a delicious gem in Lewisham! The lunchtime specials are only 5 or under with four choices to choose from. Definitely sorted with a choice of chicken, goat, fish and jerk chicken.

Just ordered front Gabby’s with my friend. We got: Fried Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Plantains, Macaroni and Cheese, and Peppered Prawns. The meal was POWERFUL. Culinary blows to the jaw! The food was hot and presented beautifully. The Peppered Prawns were especially tasty, and the spicy sauce was delicious.

Worst Caribbean food I’ve ever had. Ordered through Uber eats and has to amend order because they were sold out. The rice n peas was HARD. Bad enough they mixed GREEN peas in with it, it also tasted like it either hadn’t been cooked properly or been reheated a lot- felt like there was pellets in there. Plantain was undercooked, hard and raw tasting. The patty was also rock hard and tasteless. All the food tasted like it had been out for days. ‘Large’ portion that we paid extra for was definitely a small. Will definitely not be going back. 0/5
