i went in to the shop feeling as though there was "something" not quite "right" with my miele vacuum cleaner. derrick, the owner, looked at it as i waited and when i left, i felt like i had a new vacuum AND it looked like a new vacuum! i was very pleased with the customer service i received. i thought it was sterling and i was glad it could be taken care of without having to leave it. i was happy to take my mieli home the same day!
My mom bought a vacuum from this place and it's not even 30 days old the straps broke and she requested her money back because all the issues and hassle this has been. He tells her that she can't get any money back she only has 7 days. Bad business!! DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY! Make the longer trip to stl it's worth it. If you decide to resolve this issue I may change the review for the good. Until then it will stand like this.
We drove from St. Louis to Washington, Mo to have Derreck look at our Beam vacuum. We had problems with the hose and it's connection to the head. He explained what was wrong. Back when we had taken to Beam they really hadn't fixed the issue. Bottom line he was willing to fix but showed us a new model and we could see the advantages to just getting a new one. He is knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend driving out to see him if you live in St. Louis. He was far nicer than the Beam of StL people in Westport.
