The directors of this company also operate Landmark mortgages, a non-active lender that bought up ex-Northern Rock mortgages. Although it was part of their contract with the government to put the Infrastrucrure in place to offer new mortgage products to these customers, they have never done so. It is reasonable to assume that the reason they do not offer new products to their Landmark prisoners is because they wish to keep them on incredibly high interest rates they cannot escape from, in a period of historically low interest base rates. It is up to you to decide whether you wish to deal with a board of directors that treats their customers so poorly, but if they are perfectly comfortable squeezing every last penny out of the most vulnerable of their mortgage customers, just imagine what they could be capable to doing to you.
