A lot of something for everyone... easily accessible by metro, safe central location, a lot of boutiques, vendors for everyone who is a collector

Barcelona's largest and most popular 100% second-hand market.

Soooooo sad for this obsessed shopper. I googled flea markets hoping to find a treasure to take back home with Me that was especially Spanish I went to Encants flea market first. I heard it was vintage but resembled more of a garage sale than treasures from the past. I then discovered the market behind the metro which is only open on the second Sunday of the month Very disappointing. It was reviewed as jewellery designers forum. Yes there were some beautiful pieces but so overpriced you think you were buying from Browns Jewellery Store and then the other selection is from your standard old hippy that just came back from Bali or Thailand with his collection. I strongly suggest you rather use your time to get lost in the little alleys of the Gothic Quarter where there are designers and you can pick up something rare.

Large quantity of stands, a lot of little gems hidden if you know where to look. Prices are pretty cheap and you can find pretty much anything. As with most vintage markets it favours women's clothing and accessories but there's always something for guys there too. Worth having a walk around, the market in drassannes is usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month and from 10-7pm, no entry fee.
