Prices are 4 euros to get inside and get a tour around. Also lots to see inside and it's worth the tour. Especially it's surroundings are a really nice view! Don't go during the midd summer heat bit too hot inside. Also check it's openingtimes online they differ per season.

An amazing place, loved it. So cool to see this place and how HUGE it is. Entrance is only 3.50, worth it for what you can see. I loved the stables that could accomodate up to 500 horses back in the day.

The Castell de Sant Ferran is an old castle situated just outside the main centre of Figueres. The journey to it is better done by car. It is a nice historical site, consisting of a main building, surrounded by walls. The walk around the castle, above the walls is a nice 1-2 hour stroll surrounded by nature.

If you like military history, and castles in particular, you will love Sant Ferran. I had only a little over an hour available, so the audio guide wasn't going to be useful, so i just wandered around and took photos. The fortification is huge - the largest bastion fortress in the world - and affords great views of the surrounding lands. It only cost me 3.5 Euros to enter, so was good value. The cafe is decent and the loos work. It is a 15 minute walk from the Dali Museum and, as you climb, offers good views of the plain below..

Fabulous 18th Century castle and well worth a couple of hours of your time if you are near Figueres. The free audio guide is informative. Add some adventure to the visit by taking the 'Cathedral of the Water' tour option (need to pre-book). Involves a 4x4 and boat!
