I worked with Jeff and Dana to honor my grandmother's life and remembrance. Jeff was compassionate and kind during the entire process. Not once did I feel as if Jeff was trying to upsell or be advantageous, but to the contrary, he was empathetic and delicate when discussing arrangements. Dana prepared my grandmother beautifully and followed our requests. I couldn't have asked for a better, more seamless experience with Advent Funeral & Cremation Services. Highly recommend. The wonderful folks at Advent really helped us during a difficult time. From my first call during the final hours of our mother's life to her eventual passing, they were professional, compassionate and led us through a process we knew very little about. When I arrived at their lovely facility the next day, I was welcomed as part of their family, with no pressure as to arrangements, so I was able to make informed decisions about how to best celebrate our mother's life. I will always appreciate their services.
Advent is wonderful. They assisted with my Dad’s ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery years ago, and now this year they are assisting with my Mom’s cremation and a delayed ceremony at Arlington. I’m very grateful for the compassionate and professional service. Highly recommended.
Advent Funeral Services is excellent, they were very kind and empathetic. While this was not my first time experiencing a death, this was my son that died, and I personally had to take care of his services. Advent walked me through the process step by step and made this process easier. I really appreciated Mr. Price, (Jeffrey Price, Falls Church, VA), he was so calm, patient and very professional I was a mess. My family has worked with Advent before, the Lanham office, and I would definitely use there services again if the need arises. Thank you again Advent Funeral & Cremation Services.
I cannot say enough good things about Matt and Jeff at Advent. They were so genuine, very responsive, and not once did our family feel like we were being “sold” something like other funeral homes in the area. In fact, they often encouraged money saving options. Their prices are very reasonable, but their kindness and sympathy went far beyond what I expected. Thank you both for making a very difficult experience a little bit easier.
