Excel Propane has the best prices around! They offer discounts even beyond those prices! When I thought there was a leak at my tank, they were there within 45 minutes...no questions and no charge even though we think it was from a neighboring tank. Love the service and dependability!

I choose Excel Propane after the propane company I had couldn't give me a reasonable price even after being a long time customer. I called Excel and was able to talk to a real person within 3 rings on the phone, where it took me a month of waiting on the phone for over an hour for someone to pick up the phone then they never did so I had to keep trying until I could talk to someone from my old propane co. Excel has very friendly and professional drivers and if you call them they answer their phone. Thank you Excel you are a truly a professional compamy.
Oh my goodness, where do I start? I have propane service out of the Fremont location and have yet to have a bad experience. Joe has been especially helpful to me, as I had never had propane service before now. I was pretty much at their mercy for getting everything set up, and the months after for refills and the like. Every time I call I get a real person to talk to, and they are so patient, courteous and helpful. From calls to get quotes, refills set up a budget plan or about resetting a tank to the drivers who deliver, you can't go wrong with Excel.
When I moved to the house, an Excel tank was already there so I went with their company. The tank seemed undersized for the house size. Luckily, we have a secondary heat source otherwise we would need to fill it up every month. I still needed to fill up around 3 or 4 times a year. They tended to use all of the 5 day \guarantee\, although 1 time it was about 7 days. I did decide to switch to a different company recently though since their standard customer prices were lower and I never felt excited to have Excel. When I called to let them know I was switching, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer. I did call and let them know that I was getting a new tank installed and they should pick theirs up soon. They told me it might not be until spring! They didn't even give me an estimated date! That could be 3 months that the tank is sitting in my yard! I should probably be charging them property rental for that. I could understand that it may take up to 5 business days like their fill ups. You would think they would want their tank back, but I guess not. If it wasn't for these issues, they would have received a better rating. Update- I received a customer service call following this notice and we discussed ways service could be better and I provided constructive criticism. I believe that will take that into consideration. Additionally, they promised to pick up the tank soon and they now have.
We recently moved to Michigan and our property is set up with Excel Propane. After setting up our account and having them come out to fill our tanks, we are thankful for great service and friendliness. Tim was wonderful! He walked us through our appliance set-up after he filled the tanks, how to check our tanks usage, and what our account is like with Excel moving forward. So glad we have this company to work with and providing propane for our house!
