Good for kids
There are so many great places to visit in the Vancouver area and this is one I'll be recommending to our visitors. Feeding cranes out of our hands and a nice easy walk around.

Nice and quiet. Love the ponds too. But I didn't see many species. I think it takes more knowledge and a binocular to see them. You can rent a binocular in gift shop though
Fantastic day spent at George Reifel Sanctuary. Fresh air, gorgeous vistas and of course, a wide variety of birds and raptors to see. A must for nature lovers and families.
Good photo opertunity, if the Sun is in the direction of the wetlands do a panoramic shot, really good...

Very good views up here. I love the variety of birds that come to the sanctuary.
Too many over stuffed ducks and mud today for my liking but normally it's nice to visit almost anytime of year.
