It’s getting better but needs more improvements
like
I only have an arrival experience on this airport. It was smooth and fast, baggage arrived right after going into the building. You shouldn’t expect much from the facilities, but they are generally good for the purpose.
Great Airport, with very unfriendly WizzAir representatives. Be very careful - they will find a way to make you pay for whatever extra refuse boarding if they do not happen to like your ID.
Quite good ,but because of covid about 50mins of waiting.much appreciation for all key workers from the airport. God bless them and protect
I have travelled to Debrecen Airport several times now and it has changed a lot over the past couple of months. Fast check-in. Staff do their job. I have been searched almost every time. They are very strict but that’s good in my opinion. As long as you follow the rules at the airport and with the airline then nothing can go wrong. Much more pleasant to sit down while waiting for your flight. Clean and a pleasant restaurant. Would be nice if there was a restaurant for those people picking/waiting for arrivals. Also would like to see another runway. At the moment there is only one. This airport is desperately in need of expansion. In a prime location with good connections so let’s see some major investment in Debrecen International Airport.
One of the worst airports I've travelled through. There was only one (!) passport control desk working for all of the passengers and it created a huge queue of course. Even this desk stopped working after some kind of techy issue. After waiting for an hour they decided to open the rest of the desks. Finally. The airport itself is really small, some staff members don't speak English. The only cafe closes at 7 pm as the whole airport isn't operated 24 hours. There's only one ATM (outside). There're no exchange kiosks. Some of the vending machines aren't working properly. Wi fi is working at least.
Very small airport. They have to improve the summer ventillation. Can be hot if waiting area is full. But it's a good airport overall.
Tiny modern airport. Nice one in comparison to eastern Europe
