You have a great sense of humour and a ton of useful information regarding life before and after giving birth and the birth experience itself. Even if we couldn't meet due to the Covid-19 pandemic you made us feel like we were all together in the same room, sharing tips and tricks as soon to be parents.

We enjoyed the childbirth class with Irma very much. Irma has a lot of experience from life and occupation, and it feels like you have known her your whole life after meeting her for the first time. She goes into detail about a lot of interesting topics which are beneficial for us as first time parents. She also deep dives into questions from our side and is of great help. If you are an expat in the Netherlands, Irma is the contact you need to make to be prepared as good as possible!
My husband and I were unsure about expecting a baby far from our home country, especially in this pandemic period when our families cannot come over to support us. Fortunately, all those google reviews led us to take online childbirth class from Irma which was the best decision of us during our first-time-parents journey. Online program is made of 6 sessions, once per week and 2 hours each. Irma shares her extensive knowledge about labor, how to become prepared, what to expect once it started and beyond; postnatal period. Our insecurities replaced by confidence with her lovely friendly and funny approach, which also made us feel warmly embraced since day 1. Therefore, I suggest all soon-to-be-parents to take her childbirth classes to get well prepared for the big day.
My husband and I loved this course. Irma is an excellent and experienced instructor who makes everyone feel welcome from day one. The course was informative and well-organized; due to covid restrictions, the course was held virtually through Skype, but Irma still made it feel like we were all together. In addition to being educational, it was a great way to meet other international parents-to-be. I highly recommend this course to anyone having a baby in the Netherlands. Thank you, Irma!
I've taken the full class together with my husband. We first decided to do the mini class, but the energy and loads of useful information given by Irma convinced us to go for the full class. Honestly, no regrets! We had the classes through Skype due to Covid restrictions, though Irma still made us all feel like we were in the same room :) Her focus is on each person (incl. fathers-to-be) and the class is so much fun, that you do believe childbirth is an easy peasy adventure, full of surprises, but absolutely doable! Irma's happy approach to each class allowed us to remember everything well (and you still get a lot of info by email!) and we are ready to deliver our baby in a relaxed way :) Thank you, Irma!

I will be a new parent and such classes are a must have for both mother/father-to-be. I'm glad I took the full child birth class and we learned a lot from Irma. In our class there were several couples which formed a group. Irma herself is very energetic, understanding and experienced. Each session started with a week summary of pregnancy experience by each couple and Irma listens carefully to both mother and father and guides you when needed. She diagnosed urine infection in an online video session in our group, you will be in good hands she is that good. Thank you Irma for listening and being awsome
Must have course. She is one stop solution for all pregnancy related information, practices and information. Her classes and fun as well. Even during difficult corona times, she managed to keep her classes very useful and productive using video calls. Thanks Irma.
