My daughter and I went to Mara to purchase her prom dress a couple of weeks ago. As we walked in I introduced my daughter to the owner and her assistant. After letting them know why we were there, one of the ladies asked what size my daughter was. When I told them we didn't know for sure the shop owner threw up her arms, walked away. I asked, \Can you measure her?\ By this time I would have just left and taken my daughter somewhere else on a different day if I had not promised her that we would go dress shopping that afternoon. The assistant, Kayla, was extremely helpful finding my daughter's size and dresses. The owner, at this time was nowhere to be found, having walked acrossthe drive andinto her house. With Kayla's help we found and purchased a beautiful dress for prom. Unfortunately, I will not be shopping there for my youngest two daughter's prom dresses. If it weren't for Kayla, I would not have purchased a dress from Mara that day. She was the only person in the shop who was never rude. NICE MATTERS.

We had such a great time shopping for a wedding dress at Mara! The selection was fantastic and Tiffany was wonderful. I loved the beautiful private studio room. We checked out the boutique as well and the gals were so welcoming and friendly. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience & my dream dress!
Tiffany and Kathryn were absolutely AMAZING! Visiting Mara was my first time trying on wedding dresses and there were a couple hurdles along the way. My original appointment was supposed to happen right about the time a snow storm was due to impact most of Iowa and then had to try to reschedule a time to go in before my sister/maid of honor was due to fly back to Tennessee in a few short days. When it came to the appointment day, Kathryn came in on a day that the studio was supposed to be closed to help accommodate our schedule/needs. Kathryn was very attentive to the information I was sharing about what I was envisioning and picturing for my special day - she was so attentive that she actually found my dream dress in one of their discontinued collections! I could not be happier about my experience working with the Mara team and I highly recommend checking them out - this is a hidden North Iowa gem for Iowa brides.
Absolutely amazing and helpful staff. They were so welcoming to not only me but my family. All the dresses were beautiful. After trying on a few, she new exactly what I would love!
