I went twice to get my covid 19 vaccine to this hospital. They doing an amazing job. Only few minutes of wait time and all get done.Specially i have to mention about the nurse Karen.she is so professional and kind and did a great job.i went to get my second shot and when I saw her I spoke to her and she gave me my second shot as well. I'm so blessed to get this done as lot of people talking negative things about how hard to get in and get the vaccine. I really appreciate the great work done by Coney Island Hospital.

Forget the fact that I was in the emergency room for HOURS! I get it. It was an emergency and I do not expect it to be fast... however, if that isn't the final straw, I am trying to get the results of the CAT scan they did that night and not only is it not available in the portal but I have been calling non stop and NO ONE seems to be available. I honestly believe they do not have it bc Dr Ostrovsky seemed annoyed when 5 hrs in I said I wanted to just go home because I was in so much pain. All I need is an administrator to simply send my results to my doctor and I am \on hold\ for HOURS. I am seriously losing what amazing patience I used to have. After waiting over an hour and my battery draining down... I had no choice but to give up and possibly drive all the way to coney island hospital from Suffolk county
I came in today for my first shot of the Covid Vaccine. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I think saw the name \Judith\ on her name-tag, was amazing at directing the whole operation and showing people where they should be and kept us smiling. She showed so much patience with the elderly (and everyone else of course). Really a class act and she should be commended. The gentleman who checked me in, based on myChart I think his name was Nurse M Joseph, was also very thorough and kind. And Nurse Mona was so so sweet when she gave me the injection. She answered all my questions and gave me reassurances and a laugh. I just wanted to make sure I came on here to thank and acknowledge the amazing work of those who helped me today.
Horrible hospital I've been in my entire life. To receive test results, you must wait at least 7-8 hours. In Europe, all this is done in 1 hours maximum. You have to rename \emergency room\ to \waiting room forever\. They don't care about your pain or something else, just wait doesn't matter what happened with you. Don't waste your time.
Came here for my covid vaccine - even with appointment it was very busy and had to wait about 40mins before I could check in. Seemed a little disorganized but Judith was very good at keeping the line going as much as possible and had a great, positive attitude. Overall a positive experience. Thank you!
