I am sorry but me and my friend had an unpleasant experience. We booked 1hr semi private lesson and were expecting much higher standards. We had to stop and end the lesson earlier as one of the horses just refused to move. The riding arena was very small, muddy and down/up hill. There were too many horses for the size of the arena and everyone was doing whatever they wanted and riding wherever they wanted so not really safe and quite difficult to trot/canter due to lack of space. Because we booked semi private lesson we were expecting to have an instructor who will actually train us. Didn’t really happen. Very disappointing!

My 5 and 3 year old loves it here. My 5 year old was going to a different riding school and for 2 months was only doing walking and stand up and sit down pointless lessons then I come to old town riding school and within weeks my daughter was doing trotting and riding of lead rain brilliant yard great with kids

Took me ages to get in touch with anyone - finally managed to book the 'unicorn experience'. Not sure how they can all it that... it was a brown horse that my niece was allowed to paint on and then rode in a very muddy, unpleasant arena. On the website it states the 'unicorn' would have a horn, which it.did not. It also stated you would be able to feed the pony at the end, again we was unable to do this. I would not reccomend this. We had one very disappointed little girl.

Fantastic little place my 14 year old cousin had an amazing time! I surprised her for her birthday to spend the day learning horse care and maintenance and a riding lesson all included in their pony day experience. Everyone was so friendly and engaging putting my cousin at ease straight away and they completely cemented her love of all things horses! On first appearance it honestly doesn't look like much it's hidden away and appears small but it turned out to be small yet perfect! In my opinion they offer good value for money and compared to most other pony day experiences in Buckinghamshire they are the cheapest but really pack the day full of great activities and teach the kids how much hard work goes into caring for a horse. I never thought I'd see the day when my cousin would love mucking out the horses and sweeping the yard but she had an amazing time and learned so much. I can't thank them enough they made her birthday surprise really special! I highly recommend them!!
