We visited here as part of an organised outing on behalf of the Caravan Club in association with camping Logis du Bruil. The visit was very interesting as much was explained to us by an English speaking guide, who was clearly an archaeologist as he had a passion for the subject. Not an expensive visit either

Great presentation of the remains of the Roman baths. The audio guide takes you through the structure as if you were partaking in the ritual yourself. There are many artistic renderings of what each area might have looked like from various angles which gives you a good idea of the grandness of the rooms. There is ample free parking on site. Staff are extremely knowledgeable of the site and friendly. Highly recommended to visit!
Would have been more helpful if information had been provided in other languages, other than a simple sheet, as it's not always easy to imagine all from scant remains? But the fact that anything does remain is amazing, and I'm sure provides many insights into Roman life at the time? It was beautifully laid out and preserved.
Very interesting site. I think that there are a lot of good opportunities, when it comes to tourism. Definitly a place to visit. If you are interested in how a Roman port city was layed out and what happens with it over time. I enjoyed the site and the little museum.
Buses during short summer period to Talmont then 20 minute walk. Fine site and good explanations a real sense of history whilst looking down to river. Limited refreshments.
Well run and interesting but need to invest your own imagination as it is really just a series of partial walls.
Spend a few hours here .. you'll enjoy
