Wheelchair-accessible entrance
After ringing to enquire about coming into the home I was met was a rude lady on phone. I was told that they were only allowing 'Geniune' people to look around. I was then informed to be classed as 'Geniune' I would need to be a waiting lisit and that the waiting list was as long as a piece of string' ! Why would you not be geniune ? We just wantd an idea of what the place was like before signing up to live somewhere we have never even seen . Rude and totally unhelpful just at moments when me and my loved one needed reassurance and support. If this is the attiude before entering the care home I dread to think what it would be like once they were in. We only wanted to see what the rooms were like, other care homes have been so much more accomdating and polite.
