Wow. Bar Marco was phenomenal! We chose this spot to host our rehearsal dinner for our wedding after finding it online and seeing the \wine room dinner\ option. Typically they sell per seat up to ten seats but we had 11 people in our party and asked if we could book it out and they could accommodate. Needless to say Andrew was wonderful to work with planning our event, even in the uncertainty of COVID with percent capacity and alcohol service restrictions constantly changing. In the end, we had a private dining experience on their back patio with a five course meal paired with wine. We even were able to exchange one of the wine pairings for a bourbon cocktail (our favorite liquor) and the drink was so delicious even the non-bourbon drinkers in our group said it was tasty! The personality of the staff was so upbeat and positive, you could tell they loved what they do as they delivered and explained each course and beverage pairing. Other reviews have made comments about portion sizes but we did not find that to be a problem at all. Looking down the table, everyone's plate was clean after each course but at the end everyone was commenting on how stuffed they were because it was so delicious. Fresh ingredients, great staff, wonderful taste, amazing atmosphere -- our family could NOT stop talking about what an incredible dining experience our rehearsal dinner was. HIGHLY recommend!

This was our second experience at Bar Marco and it was just as good as the first time. Carl was our server last time and Chelsea was our server this time; both are extremely affable, friendly, and helpful. The drinks and food were all very, very tasty and we ordered several different dishes between the 7 of us. Very nice, cool ambience. I would highly recommend this establishment and plan on returning in the future!
We hosted our wedding at Bar Marco and this review surely won't do our experience justice! After dealing with planning and replanning our wedding due to Covid, the team at Bar Marco was extraordinary to work with. The food and drinks are always incredible, and the team behind it is even greater. They were absolutely wonderful and helped us so much through the many ups and downs of planning an event during a pandemic. Before moving away from Pittsburgh, we frequented the restaurant and are so happy to have safely held our intimate ceremony and reception in their beautiful event space. Cannot recommend Bar Marco enough for intimate weddings!
Great staff, historic and home feel to venue. Adhered well to covid protocol. Highly recommended.
Food and service was exceptional. Background on each wine as being served very cool. First time ever here will suggest this place for a good experience!
