Back in February we had contacted John about installing a New Wood Burning Stove in our Condo in Birch Bay. He came and gave us a quote which we agreed on and in March we gave him 3100 as a deposit to get materials. Covid hit and we put the project on hold until restrictions were lifted. At the end of August we were informed that he sent the Stove that he ordered back because of warranty concerns and told he was having issues getting the original stove we agreed on and offered an alternative,which we agreed to. Then NOTHING!! For 2 1/2 weeks I emailed, called and texted him,asking what was going on. Still... NOTHING!! We emailed stating we wanted to desolve the agreement,seeing he wasn't communicating with us and we would like a refund and we were going with Innovations in Modern Living, seeing they could do the job! September 18th and he responds with a lame excuse and says the stove is on order and should be here by the end of the Month and that he would install it. I emailed him again,stating that due to his lack of communication,that we are going with Innovations and we want our money back. He responded that due to Covid he dissolved the Company and can't refund our money! In which I told him that we couldn't use him to install if he's not Insured and Bonded. Now we have to file a complaint with the County in hopes of recouping some of our deposit!! Do Not use this guy! He's shady and dishonest!! Now we're out 3100! It's sad that there are people like this still around!! Hopefully he doesn't rip anyone else off! #TotalRipOff

Jon and Meg were Amazing to work with. They had the best prices and they were the best. They made every part of the process easy. I can't believe I waited 10 years to finally get a wood stove. I have electric through out my house and struggled to keep my house warm for 10 years. I am completing satisfied with my new stove. It heats my whole house, all 2,200 square inch. There is nothing better than wood heat. It is beautiful and cozy. I am so thankful for their professionalism and expertise. Don't wait another minute. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed. I am so happy with my Mitsubishi split unit. John and Meg where very knowledgeable on what I needed to meet my needs. The air condition is perfect in the summer and the heat works great now that is ya getting cold. I highly recommend them for any thing related to splits or wood burning stoves
They purchased a wood stove and all necessary parts for us, and did the installation in our A-frame style home. We relied on their expertise in selecting the best stove for our needs, and they were able to complete the installation quickly and efficiently once all the components of the project were received. Our home is cozy and leak-free, ready for whatever weather this winter brings!
John has issues with making appointments. Took three missed appointments before we decided to look elsewhere for our fireplace needs. So glad we found out before starting a working relationship. Very lucky we didn't give them any money!
I had a great experience with Bham owner. They have exceptional service and great pricing. If you need anything done that has with stoves or fireplaces they are your guys.
Very friendly and informative! Was weary at first about installing a stove for the upcoming winter but they educated me on the entire process from purchase to installation, will definitely be referring to friends!
