One of the good batteries that has done a good job of making it accessible and to learn even more. Make sure to go to the one close by in crisbeq. Both worth the trip and price.

I visited all the batteries in Normandy during my D-day tour. And I must admit that this was the best one. On first sight you don't think this battery is great because they don't display a lot of guns. But the underground tranches and the audio information was just great. Most of the times I don't like these audio informations tours. This because they always give you information that you already know. But not here. They explain the beginning of the bunker and the battle. They do this in your own languages so you can understand everything. The details they tell you are amazing. The part a liked the most was the story about the battle near the bunker and the effect that the battery had on d-day. The tickets were not expensive and the parking is free. This is a must see for people that come to Normandy for the war.

Very interesting to see and hear the history of the building and fall of the Atlantic wall.

Very interesting to see the tunnels and bunkers from the inside. What a huge amount of concrete and steel these buildings must have required! Of course there is nothing left of the interiors, but there are pictures that give an impression.

Fantastic place with underground tunnels that you can explore. Very helpfull audio guide, a must see is the bunker that took a direct hit from a 300cm shell from a ship.

Worth a visit access to the inside of German bunkers and artillery facility. Well maintained. Eazy walk about a 20 minute stop and walk thru. Plenty of WW2 stuff but keep your eyes peeled some blends in so well you'll drive right by.
