Very well managed museum on the history behind our armed forces and also some interesting stories that developed during the transition of Malaysia into a country. Lots of armored vehicles on display which you can touch and interact with. Some of the indoor galleries could have been refreshed and updated but overall the information was intriguing and unique. Definitely pay a visit to this museum if you're in the area.

This is my first time visit, overall experience is great. They also have a special tunnel for you to walk in and experience during the war. It is a must place to visit. If you have seen some of the soldier is around, you also can take pictures with them too.

This museum has so much potential and it's a great place for the younger generation to understand the sacrifices and contributions made by the Malaysia army in the past. Sadly maintenance is not up to the mark. Most of the vehicles, cannons etc seem decent as it had a fresh coat of paint but the inner rooms are warm and without air-conditioning. The ac is there but wasn't on. The cafeteria is small but it's still okay I feel. Overall a good experience but definitely it could have been better. Entrance is free but you can donate to support the museum. Parking is limited

Its a down memory lane trip. Almost everything displayed here contributed during our fight against the communist party of malaya till they surrendered in 1989. The vehicles, weapons, uniforms, photographs etc. The caribou aircraft on display happens to be the same model I did my para jump from in 1985. Two of the carved names on the black marble outside consists of two of my known colleagues who died for the country so other Malaysians can live in peace without being terrorised by the communist threat. May they all rest in peace.

I have recently arrived from KL where I was overwhelmed by its historic museums. But my absolutely favourite was the PKM tunnel , which is entirely dedicated to the Komunis Revolution. As inquisitive as I am, I stepped into the museum in a scorching morning of a morning day and left it when the evening was falling.Another reason why I recommend going to the museum is because they have very friendly and informative tour guides. There are big parking lots, spotless bathrooms a big cafeteria and all kinds of facilities which make the place also very attractive for school teachers visiting with groups of children.

Pro Quite frankly, Amazing places! Carefully placed relics according to timelines. For the public transportation, it would be better to take an Grab or other E-hailing than public bus. Maintain your discipline. This is Army Museum, not a theme park. Some of the relics will never be found in other typical museum. Cons Some of the placement of the items are pretty dark and need to be careful especially on outdoor vehicle display where rust and sharp edges could really ruined your visit.

One of the better museums in Malaysia. Certainly a great place to learn about the history and formation of Malaysia's army. Follow the historical journey from the days of the Melaka Malay Sultanate to the Second World War and the Emergency period, and how the army played an important role in the country's formation.
