Perfect location as it is situated at the center of the city. I am impressed how clean the hostel is, the rooms are cozy and the shared bathroom is very clean. At the end of the day, the quiet ambiance of the hostel helped me to have a good night's rest after a long day's tour. The staff are very friendly and hospitable as well. It is a home away from home. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hostel last week, management is accomodating and location is great but I would not recommend this place to a friend and think the rating is too high. Do NOT take the shared taxi to Tbilisi recommended/arranged by the hostel. It was supposed to leave at 7 but we drove around town weirdly dropping things off and picking things up until 8, no one could speak English to explain what was going on, the driver even changed and the people around made me very uncomfortable. Then the second driver even asked me for more money although I had already paid 8000 (1000 more than the marshrutkas). On the way to Tbilisi the driver drove even more chaotically than any marshrutkas drivers and we literally almost got into a few wrecks (not being dramatic, we were stopped to talk to one of the drivers we almost ran into). Then when we got to Tbilisi the driver tried to drop me off way before the spot that was agreed on. I wish I could have gotten my money back for this somehow, it was a HUGE rip off. I wanted to leave the car several times and try my best to request a new ride in the middle of no where but wasn't sure which was more dangerous.
Good price and location. 5th floor without elevator. Because of smoking on the terrasse, it smells a bit of cigarette smoke in the room. Most of the people there stay longterm. Easy to connect with other guests. Breakfast included. I would stay here again
Nice hostel in Yerevan and a good starting point for any backpacker willing to discover the wilderness and heights of Armenia. Gor Isko (one of the hosts and receptionist) it really is a helpful guy, ready to answer to all your questions and to sort any aspects regarding the logistic and itinerary/transport throughout this beautiful country!
Very pleasant and cheap hostel. Staff are really helpful and fun. Excellent location, you can walk to almost all important landmarks. No lift to the 5th floor, but it's a good exercise :)
I'd like to commend the management and staff of Arm Hostel during the course of my tour in Armenia for keeping my room tidy, for cleaning the comfort room round-the-clock to ensure their guests to feel comfortable and satisfied. Aside from that, they make a great breakfast too! But what I really want to highlight here is the fact that the staff were very very nice and accommodating to their guests. And for me as a tourist who spent the first week of January in Armenia, that makes my tour more memorable. The service, the ammenities, the food and the people behind Arm Hostel are what makes them different from the others. Salamat Arm Hostel!
