Don't be put off by the fact this is a fishery if fishing isn't your thing, the food in the cafe is excellent and I can highly recommend the breakfasts. Food is lovely and fresh and the bread in particular was delicious. If on the other hand you enjoy fishing, there is plenty of options here from catching your own trout for tea to spending some family time catching smaller fish (and releasing them again). There are a number of ponds set within a nice landscape and with a peaceful atmosphere. Staff in both the cafe and the fishing side were really friendly and we actually ended up having a trout donated to us, which ended up on our plates for tea, and which was totally delicious. We're planning a return visit but to actually fish next time.
Excellent fishery with cafe on site. Really appreciate the advice and help from the staff. Highly recommended.
Cafe is lovely and the lady who runs it is ever so helpful. The full Welsh breakfast is excellent and great value. What a nice way to start the day. Rgds Steve
