I went to SVS to complete a screening. The minute I walked in and seen Dr. parham in a dingy white tank top with a couple gold chains. I immediately wanted to leave. There was comments made to me throughout the screening that made me feel very uncomfortable. I was trying to take my assesment, he talked the whole time during. Multiple phone calls answered as well. The screening was more about him than me. The court or dmv NEVER received the paperwork they claim they sent. I never got a receipt for my payment. It was overall a bad experience. I have contacted the BBB along with the attorney general. I was taken advantage of and I will continue to pursue my complaints. I will not stop. FYI DO NOT GO TO SUN VALLEY SERVICES.

The staff are very unorganized, groups and session are very disruptive with staff constantly coming in and out the building , they over talk each other well one staff member is running a group. . Definitely dont recommend there services...

DO NOT GO TO DR PARHAM! This guy is very unprofessional! I walk i he is wearing basketball shorts, a tanktop that hangs low showing his chest, wearing gold chains trying to look like Flava flave without the clock. We get through through part of the evaluation and he decides to tell me that he needs a copy of my 5 year driving report \he failed to mention this when appointment was set up\. So i go to the dmv get the report and take it back to him. Finish the assessment. Now he says all that needs to be done is payment and signing off on my evaluation. So i pay him then he gives me an address to a different dr whom he says works under him so there won't be any confusion about payment or anything. And that other dr will be the one to sign off on the assessment. Well i get to the other dr and explain why i am there, they inform me that he doesn't even work for that other dr and he isnt even certified to provide the services that he charged me for. So a phone call was made back to Dr parham and he said to come get the money. Im not sure how this guy is still in business but he shouldn't be.

Dr Pahram decided to not pay the rest of our legal contract because of personal complaints. While cursing and making claims, to how proud he was. The streets had taught him how to say \F you\. In front of several of his clients with the door open. Followed by \I'm up here and your down there in the loby\. Just to prove he was some how superior. Beware and very careful there is a reason this man had his license revoked.

I'm a nine year winter visitor to Mesa, and had gotten a DUI in Oregon, my home state. Rather than remain in Oregon for the winter, I arranged for my required counseling to be in Mesa. There were several choices in the area, and I decided on Sun Valley Services with Dr. Joseph Parham. Dr. Parham is a very educated and professional person, and he is also someone who has experienced hardship and personal loss. His fee is very competitive with other services in the area. With myself being a visitor with other activities to do while in Mesa, he was able to work with my schedule and availability to attend class, so that I could meet my obligations. I do recommend Sun Valley Services with Dr Joseph Parham with out question or reservation.
