I had to put one star but would have preferred zero. My husband went in for an epidural pain blocker. We had an over the phone consultation with the doctor a week ahead and were told he would have 50 to 90% improvement from the first shot and from there we would decide if another was needed after 2 weeks. He had zero change from the epidural. When my husband called to ask the doctor about it the front desk said she would talk to him. She called back to let him know he would need another round. When pushed on the fact that we were told 50 to 90% improvement their answer was surgery. However, my husband multiple times asked to talk to the doctor and was told \well its his choice if he decides to call you back.\ Well any doctor that cannot talk to a patient on the phone or have the decency to call back within a day or two should not be trusted.

Nope Nope

Here is a short tale of giant stupidity. 1. I go to this place for back pain for 1 year. 2. Then break my leg in 8 places. 3. Once discharged from hospital I keep my next regularly scheduled back pain follow up appointment that was scheduled from before my leg break. 4. I report that I was given pain medication while I was in the hospital for the broken leg and since the medication for the broken leg is stronger than the back pain meds, I say I dont need any pain pills at this time. Since I didn't need drugs a drug test wasn't required. 5. They discharged me and refuse to see me for normal back injections for getting pain medication from two different providers. Even though it was in the hospital, for a shattered leg... and it was me that told them about it. They all went to school to be this stupid. Lets see if a complaint to the AZ medical board for falsifying my records to state that I refused drug tests and violated our contract by not reporting other prescriptions will get their attention.

Dr. Darien is one of the best and most caring doctors I have ever seen and the office staff are all amazing and work so hard to accommodate.
