Disgusting Public Service, as a Government organization you should not only be ashamed of yourself but should be investigated by an independent authority. You forced our gate and took away a family member, locked him in a van in the basement of your building in town and left a note in the letterbox demanding payment for not renewing registration, or our beloved pet would be put down. All because his registration had expired and you had not informed us that it was due for renewal as you promised on your website. You breached your own bylaws and we took you to court but you did not even have the courtesy to attend the hearing. Auckland City Council Animal Control you should be ashamed of your behavior, attached is a photo of our family member that you STOLE and traumatized by locking in a cage in the basement of your downtown office. The last slap in the face was you making me carry my pet around the block to my car at the other side of the building or you would fine me for walking my dog off the leash in Auckland city. Next time you send someone to my house to take one of my loved ones without any reason, make sure the person you send is bigger than me!

Shocking had to call 3 times after picking a dog in my car the first person took my call hung up on me, after taking my details and requested the owner be called as the dog has a current rego called back to get a second person in the call center I asked to sisal with supervisor but was told all in a meeting (of course) again took all the details again I asked for them t call owner after she wanting to get someone to pick up from council I had to fight them to call the owner as I had the dog in my car. Then she said she would after taking all my details waited on the phone then someone else comes on the phone this time a man asking how he could helps he had no information I had given and stated that’s the call center we are animal control What a bloody joke this council is time wasters unorganised unprofessional idiots
I'm not a bad dog owner but if they ever take my dogs this will become personal between me and the dog enforcement officers
