Just outside of Lisbon you have a paradise of nature, wildlife and silence... The views of the Tejo river and the Vasco da Gama bridge just add to the magical nature of this place... As an add on you can visit the abandoned cod fish salting factory that looks as impressive as it looks eerie... If you walk quietly through the paths you can forget how close you are from a major city, it's truly magnificent.

Very nice natural resort, you can have a nice walk here. Sometimes you see some Flamingos and a lot of different birds. The people here are very friendly and at the end, you can visit the shop and buy some sea salt. So, enjoy!

Very good in spite of the heavy rain and only a small number of flamingos. Got a nice educational about the workings of the salt pans. Something to take away from this guided tour. :)
