The kalguksu is usually just handmade chopped noodles but this restaurant offers spicy kalguksu shabushabu meaning spicy soup with a lot of mushrooms and water parsley. Good thing is the soup, water parsley, and mushrooms are all offered unlimited. The menu comes with nooldes and rice that you can enjoy after you had enough of mushrooms and water parsley. Famous in Yeouido district for years and i recommend you to try this somewhat unique noodles.

Delish!!!! Noodles are thick and chewy. Broth has a little spice but not so much people can't eat it (to me). You can help yourself to more mushrooms and veggies, and they give you rice for porridge at the end!!

The mushrooms in kalguksu are very chewy, so it's delicious, and the noodles are very chewy and strong. Stir-fried rice is also good because it is unlimited, but once you eat fried rice, you feel full.

One of few places that opens on Sunday in Yeouido. It is located on B1 of Hongwoo building and you have to use stairs to get to the restaurant. The store has aprons for customers who wants to keep their clothes clean. There are high table seats with chairs and traditional low tables with floor seats. Tables have utensil boxes, soy sauce, and wasabi for customers. A mini jar of kimchi comes out when you place an order. Basic menu is BuhSuhtMaeWoonTahng (mushroom spicy soup) but you can ask servers to keep the YangNyum (spice) separate so that you can control the spiciness. Basic menu includes plateful of BuhSuht(mushrooms) and MiNari(watercress), bowl of GookSoo(noodles), and Jook(porridge). You can ask for additional veggies, noodles, and porridge for free. The restaurant offers shabushabu meat for extra charge. If you have young children, the restaurant has free AhGiBahp (food for babies) which includes rice, dry seaweed, and sesame oil. This place is pretty popular so noise level can be high. But place is spacious so you rarely have to wait long.
