A very nice Monastery located in a beautiful place in the mountains. The hospitality there is very nice and the ancient church is amazing!
Peace ,tranquillity and beautiful views.
The monastery itself was nice from the outside but we could not find anyone to help or guide us when we went into the complex. All the doors to the buildings appeared to be chained shut. When we left the grounds to go back to our car, we saw a figure close, lock and bolt the entrance gate then skulk away. We didn't feel that welcome, but then again it is a monastery, so the monks probably enjoy their solitude. Not sure if I would advise to visit.
