It's not our first visit to Winchester, but the first to this store, the staff in the haberdashery section were knowledgeable and although they couldn't help mrs Stilton this time they were able to give her some helpful advice and a contact. The store had a sensible and well marked route so even though the store was packed with goods, people had no problem with social distancing. The loos were also clean and tidy! We didn't visit the whole store because of time constraints but we will return!

This shop has a lovely range of good quality fabrics. The staff were friendly and helpful. I bought some beautiful fabric to reupholster our dining room chairs and whilst the fabric is reasonably pricy, you get what you pay for and the quality is very good. That being said they had a good assortment of cut off pieces in the sale section which are plenty big enough for smaller projects like chair seats.
Lovely food in the cafe and three floors of wonderful items to buy that suits everyone
My wife loves the place so we always go in when in Winchester. Really good for crafts (sewing,knitting, crochet and the like) and with a really good coffee shop/restaurant. Has a lovely old fashioned feel with friendly helpful staff. There aren't enough places like this any more.
