Good place to go in the small village of whitworth in the heart of Rossendale during the lockdown period, especially if you’ve got a big rucksack with you. Ideal place to go for all your rocks and stuff to make rock formations in your garden. With no need to go to B&Q or any of them other shops that you would normally go to which are Expensive.Ideal scenery you don’t get at B & Q or other garden centres and is a good “Keep fit” place too with a giant hill to walk to get there and walking back with a full rucksack. You can really keep fit here going up and down the hill to endure your stamina .Some of the stones, slabs and nice rocks that are here are Excellent and there’s loads to choose from.Watch out for the big lorries though, always going up and down.This is an excellent place to go during lockdown with ideal scenic views and peace and tranquility. I highly recommend going to whitworth quarry for a very peaceful day and collect some rocks for your garden.Very peaceful and quiet atmosphere too.Dont forget to pay Bob on the way out
