Visited Frederick, MD with a group of friends and played Whiskey Creek. All four of us enjoyed the course very much. Well maintained (most tee boxes, fairways and greens all in solid shape with the exception of your typical unfilled divot or ball mark on the fairway and green from time to time). Whiskey Creek also had the strongest focus on pace which was nice as well. Originally we had a small issue with our booking but Whiskey Creek was very accommodating and we enjoyed the course layout, challenge and surrounding views very much.

Beautiful course with a fun layout! Would be a 5, however even tho in very nice condition the greens were painfully slow for some reason.

Excellent course, always in great shape. Challenging for all handicap levels, but still gives you an opportunity to score well. Staff is friendly. My issue is that I’ve never played a round in less than 5 hours, which is pretty ridiculous considering the cost and the fact that there are usually 2 marshals on the course. Book less tee times or have marshals actually enforce pace of play and I’ll gladly make the hour drive and pay the 115 to play here.

Great golf course in a really beautiful setting. Played here on 13 December 2020 for the first time. I’d love to come back but don’t think the weekend rates over 100 are worth it, especially in December.

Course is in good shape. Nice layout. The one issue is that the round took about 4:45 on a busy day. One of the nicer public courses in the DC area. Very friendly staff.
