Sam Cohen I don't know what rink you have been to, but this rink has heat in every locker room and the Zamboni has never broken down when I have been there every day to watch my son play for Newton Youth. I also have never seen any dangerously icy floor inside the rink or I have never seen massive icicles fall from the roof and icy walkway several inches thick or the staircase not shoveled. It is a cold rink but you are going into a hockey rink so you should probably think ahead and dress warm next time. There is one thing I do agree with is the skate sharpening and ice maintenance is AMAZING.

I used to spend 6 days a week for several years there before getting completely fed up. Worst rink in Massachusetts (I'd rather go to Hockeytown in Saugus than this dump). Coldest rink, no place to sit, standing areas are freezing cold on non-insulated, dangerously icy floor, common areas are crowded with useless fake ice area and useless skating treadmill. During the wintertime, you run a gauntlet to the entrance as massive icicles fall from the roof and icy walkway is frequently several inches thick. The stairs down from the upper parking lot are frequently unshoveled and icy. Locker rooms are tiny, dirty and meat-locker-cold. Sometimes you can find a rickety hightop chair to sit on if you dare. Several times I've been there and the Zamboni broke, wasting everybody's time This place is an embarrassment to the game of hockey and every hockey program that calls this place home. The only good things I can say are that the skate sharpening and ice making is done perfectly.

Cold rink, bring extra layers! No seating. Locker rooms are nice size and kids say the ice is good.
Rink is in a nice area. As spectators, be prepared to stand the whole game and bring your own snacks. While they have vending machines, they do not have a concession stand.
