A great woodland walk with the family, plus historical connections with the castle ruins. Parking is free for those driving and there's a visitor centre with toilet facilities, drinks and snacks. The pathways are easily accessible but keep your eye on small children as you don't want them falling down any of the steeper/higher banks.

I have not been there for nearly thirty years and it is such a lovely place. Fantastic walk and the little kiosk was brilliant with a lovely and friendly lady serving. Nice coffee and hot chocolate too. Definitely going back ASAP!

Beautiful local park. Great for a walk and lots to see such as Ewloe Castle ruins and a little pet cemetery. Scenic river running through it and lots of wildlife.

Lovely walk through the woods at the side of the river leading to an enchanting waterfall where the children can play. Walk a bit further to reach Ewloe Castle. Parking is free with lots of spaces. Little cafe and toilets at the visitor centre. Also a decent size play area. Take a picnic and you can spend a good few hours here
