The team at Saltwoods were an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first meeting, where Dan took the time to explain the different woods and the process, through to delivery of our finished product. Our reclaimed barn wood island and shelves are absolutely gorgeous, it's not possible to come into the kitchen and not run your hand over the island. We're thrilled how well everything worked out.

If you live locally, we would encourage you to visit the Saltwoods facility in Watertown. You get a real sense of how much passion they have for their work and the furniture they produce. We worked with a team member to get exactly the right wood and metal legs for our custom-sized table. So many possibilities! We decided on the bevel edge (which we love!) after seeing samples in the shop and the advice of the team member. They delivered it to our home in NH on schedule and made sure it was set up perfectly. We plan on using this table for gatherings large and small for years to come. Should we need another piece of furniture, we would definitely return to Saltwoods!

Never heard of this company then saw their truck parked one day so I called their number. I ordered a custom table and chairs for a summer home. I could not find the size I needed in any furniture store. Saltwoods is not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. The table is heavy and well built and I am confident we will enjoy it for years to come. They told me how long it would take and stayed on schedule then delivered it to Maine. We were able to choose type of wood and finish. I would highly recommend them.

LOVE my cherry island! Dan is very skilled and knowledgeable. In addition, he knocks himself out with customer service. And if you're an agonizer like me, Dan is there for you with an incredible amount of patience. I highly recommend Dan and Saltwoods.
