I have seen, touched and smelled various works of furniture, both large and small made by Paul. He is highly skilled and sympathetic to the nature of wood he is working, allowing it to express itself. It is a joy to witness the harmony with which he blends functionality with creative flare and imagination. Paul obviously loves wood, this informs his art as do his many years experience.

Paul Martyn makes truly beautiful furniture. He is a perfectionist. He really listens and has an uncanny ability to understand a lay person's description of a piece of furniture and to translate it into exactly what one had in mind!
