I have been wanting to install a fireplace for some time. After searching various suppliers I decided to go with the Fireplace Loft. Kevin was very helpful with coaching us through our design that we had in mind and made some suggestions to improve it. His price point on the Fireplace itself and options was better than other suppliers. He was able to handle the entire installation, framing, gas work, and stone work. He's a true one stop shop. I am very happy that I went with The Fireplace Loft and would not hesitate to recommend them. Kevin and Jacky were great to work with.

I have worked with The Fireplace Loft on two fireplace projects during the past year and have been delighted with all aspects of their work. I am happy to write a review because they don’t advertise – their business is generated through customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth. This family-run business puts the customer first and delivers a very high-quality, superbly-designed product. A year ago, Kevin and team created a beautiful fireplace for our Waterloo condo. This year we bought a new home in London, ON and when selling our Waterloo residence, the fireplace was a definite selling feature. So when it came to renovating the new London home and redesigning the existing “oddball” fireplace, I knew exactly who to call. Stephen and Kevin designed a stunning new, double-sided surround for the existing firebox. What makes this company excellent in my mind is not only their quality construction and customer communications, it is their solid understanding of fireplace design and critical elements such as proportion and balance. I found other fireplace companies just wanted to sell me a firebox and have me select the fireplace mantle and surround designs from their menu of generic, computer-driven concepts. We love our new home and the fireplace is the centrepiece. Many thanks to Kevin, Stephen, Jacky and Carol for jobs well done.

I ordered the Grandview Regency fireplace from the Fireplace Loft. I absolutely love it! Kevin came to my home and recommended this fireplace to best accentuate my renovations. Now that it has been installed, I couldn’t be happier as it suits the house perfectly and is such a beautiful focal point. Both Kevin and Jacky were wonderful to work with. I was recently completing a home renovation and decided to see what options may be available if we were to add a fire place and stone surround. I had no real idea of price or various products, so I visited several local shops and one out of town before returning to The Fireplace loft. I called ahead and booked an apt with Kevin to discuss the idea of what I was looking for, a budget and fairly tight timeframe for the project to be completed in. After reviewing several different styles and products and discussing various options we found a solution that would work - I knew what I was going to want and had a contractor that was ready to deliver. The final piece of this was a finish date that was pretty aggressive - but I was assured that they could meet the deadline. I placed the order and things started right away, there were a few visits prior to the install to confirm space and measurements, then the fireplace install and surround construction. The custom cabinets were next then the mantle and finally the stone work. The technicians were very professional and went about the job with very little effort. They took pride in the work they did - this was obvious. I am very pleased with the results, the budget was maintained, the expectations were exceeded and the job was finished prior to the date we agreed on. I would highly recommend Kevin, Stephen and The Fireplace Loft.
