The office personnel was extremely friendly and kind. He was helpful and explained everything . The guys in the payloaders are happy to smile and wave as they go about their work.

BUYER BEWARE: Waste management rents out dumpsters for '10 days' for almost 500, however, drop-off counts as 1 whole day, so you actually only get 9 days. The drop off time is unknown but as early as 0700. I called at 0724 and asked when it would be, and they called and returned with the answer of up to 20 minutes. It was delivered 3 hours later. It was delivered on the 5th. 10 days later, starting at the time of drop off is still the 15th. It was removed on the 14th. I asked WM why I wasn't notified, they said they sent an email on the 31st. The email didn't come from waste management, it came from an individual, with an attachment on the email, so it went to spam filter. Also, you have to open the attachment and zoom in a lot to see the fine print. It says 10 days in a lot of places, but it says the 14th in a third party email attachment when you zoom in. Regardless of the email mishap, the fact that they state 10 days is a bold faced lie. Even if today was the 10th day, this day isn't over until tomorrow. 9 DAYS AND 2 HOURS IS NOT 10 DAYS When I called, the woman who answered was short and rude with me. It took some doing to get her to find someone else for me to talk to, but the call was disconnected, I think.

I have gone to this transfer station several times, both with my husband and without. I have always been treated with friendliness and professionalism in person and on the phone. As a female, I appreciate that they don't talk down to me or treat me like I don't know what I'm doing. TIP: Don't rely on the website for information. Call them to verify hours, policies, COVID precautions, etc. Currently they ask that you bring your own helmet & safety equipment.

It's where the trash trucks go to dump their trucks. Feels like a construction site. You get weighed, put on a hard hat and vest, unload, reweigh and pay. I took 1600 pounds of cut down tree. Will go back again soon.

Nice guys. They close at 4 M-F. The Miami County web site is wrong.
