I'm so disappointed to say that I had a bad experience here. In the past at other Wake Med hospitals I have not had the same experience I had at the Garner ER. After falling and dislocating my ankle and breaking it in 3 places my husband drove me to ER. He needed help getting me out of the car and the nurse that came to \help\ screamed at me. She actually screamed at me while \helping\ get me into the wheel chair. I also had to wait 3 hours for an orthopedic surgeon to come to the hospital to set my ankle. While waiting I had my blood drawn the only problem I have with that is that it was done twice! A nurse came in and started drawing my blood for the second time and a coworker of hers informed her she'd already done it. Complete lack of communication. It was a terrible experience and I will not return to this hospital.

Our daughter was a passenger in a car accident and we took her here to be evaluated. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen. Once we were in the nice private rooms in the emergency department she was cared for very well. Including x rays. My only suggestion is possibly a coffee maker or place to get snacks for visitors with patients. It was early in the am and a very sweet nurse had mercy on me and got me coffee from nursing station. I really appreciated that since I ran out of the house from being woke up when I was informed our daughter was hurt in a car accident on the way to school. It was a very stressful event and we were there a couple hours. Best cup of coffee ever! Thank you. Lol Thank you for the great care too.

I go to this place because I can get in and get out. Very seldom to you have a long wait. I also get accurate details on my situation. Everyone is patient, understanding, and sympathetic to you and your pain. They also treat my family with courtesy and respect and care.

I have never had a bad experience coming here. Ever since 2015 I have been seeing Dr. Ryan Murray and I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and compassionate physician. I have seen another doctor as well at this site (I can’t remember the name right off) but he was good as well. Highly recommended!

Great and convenient location, in between my residence and work. Very close to my pharmacy as well. Great hours, I love being able to have a 7:00 am appointment, and be at work by 8:00 am. Dr. Miller is very caring and knowledgeable, and takes the time needed to assist you the best.
