My autistic son is musically gifted and plays several instruments already. He did not have a cello or any experience with one until Santa brought him a new one for Christmas. We were unsure how to set it up and a local music shop here in North Port recommended the Violin Shop Sarasota to us. We left a voicemail for an appointment, which was returned promptly. The experience was wonderful and completely worth the 40 minute drive. The shop is lovely and all employees where professional and informative. They set up the cello and taught us how to maintain it. I fully plan on returning for future normal care of it as I feel no one else could go as above and beyond as they did for my son's new instrument. They were so patient, kind, and encouraging to my child which means the most to a mother.

Alejandro Mendoza and Thomas Sparks were so pleasant and were very efficient in re-stringing and tuning my daughter's instrument during my scheduled appointment time Friday morning. The space was beautiful and the chair to wait in was very comfortable. We all wore masks and social distanced. I highly recommend the Violin Shop Sarasota.
